Senator Waqar Ahmed Khan, Minister for Privatisation, Monday visited Head Office of National Power Construction Corporation (NPCC) at Lahore where Managing Director of NPCC Muhammad Ajaz Malik, apprised him with the performance of the company and future business projects.

National Power Construction Corporation, a state enterprise in the Ministry of Water and Power, is engaged in construction of power projects in the Middle East. The company has all along been self-financing and contributing to the national economy particularly foreign exchange earnings by its all Pakistan workforce on the overseas projects. The purpose of the Waqar Ahmed Khan's visit and interaction with NPCC's management was to discuss options of privatisation that would be in the best interest of the government.
